Senior Self-care Hampers
Through its outreach programmes, Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre is constantly working towards supporting the community at large. The Guideline Counselling department sought to get involved and bring joy to some of our senior citizens for Eid-al-Fitr 1444.
In collaboration with Ladysmith Islamic Welfare, Guideline Islamic Counselling staff and volunteers sourced and packaged 50 senior self-care hampers (25 male & 25 female), which were distributed to elderly Muslim recipients in the Steadville, Ladysmith area. These hampers contained winter essentials to aid maintaining warmth during the harsh winter weather, as well as general self-care items.

Warm hat
Moisturiser
Vicks & Zambuk
Miswak
Bath sponge
Ladysmith Islamic Welfare have expressed their gratitude for helping them serve these recipients, which consisted primarily of revert Muslims.
